Big Reach Back-To-School 2008
Our largest event of the year, Big Reach Back-to-School, will be held on Saturday, August 2, 2008--an event that continues to grow each year. Last year, our 200 volunteers helped reach out to 331 families and 862 children. Children received free haircuts, medical examinations, book bags with school supplies, and much more. Fresh produce, clothing, and community information were among the items given out to the attending families. Children must also be pre-registered.
Pumpkin Festival
We will once again be hosting a Pumpkin Festival here at the Center of Hope for families to come and pick their own pumpkins. The festival will be held on Saturday, October 18, 2008 from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm. Festival activities, inflatable jumps, face painting, and other family fun will be part of the event.
Hope Gala
The Big Reach Center of Hope will be once again be hosting the Hope Gala on Saturday, November 1, 2008 at Mr. Anthony's in Boardman. All proceeds from the event will benefit projects at the Center of Hope. Festivities will include: Hor d'ourves and festive alcohol-free drinks, a delicious gourmet dinner, the sensational sound of the band "Backbeat", and a live, silent, and chinese auction.
