Our largest event of the year, Big Reach Back-to-School, will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2009–an event that continues to grow each year. Children receive free haircuts, medical examinations, book bags with school supplies, and much more. Fresh produce, clothing, and community information were among the items given out to the attending families. Children must also be pre-registered.

Back to School 2009 registrations for children ages 3 thru 15 can be picked up at the Center April 2nd thru April 30th during regular distribution day times.

The Big Reach Center of Hope will be once again be hosting the Hope Gala on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. All proceeds from the event will benefit projects at the Center of Hope. Tickets are $75.00 each. Festivities will include: Hor d’ourves and festive alcohol-free drinks, a delicious gourmet dinner, the sensational sound of the band “Backbeat”, and a live, silent, and chinese auction.
